This seven bedroom four bathroom lodge is the perfect spot for a secluded, woodsy retreat on Vermilion. This home was built to entertain: huge deck, sauna, large jacuzzi tub, two wood burning fire places, bar, huge kitchen, pool table, private docks, fire pit, lakeside patio, large screen porch, and more. Please note that Black bay is shallow and not suitable for swimming, but we do provide kayaks and use of resort beach.

We will refund payment if we are able to rent the cabin to another party at the same rate. There will be a 6% fee taken from the deposit to cover credit card transaction fees. Please consider purchasing trip insurance to protect yourself, and our small family business in case you need to cancel.
Can i cancel my reservation?
We require a 30% deposit due at the time of booking. The final balance will be due 60 days prior to arrival.
How much is the deposit?
Reserve your boat before you arrive to guarantee that you get what you want. If you have your own boat, we have a private boat launch on site. All cabins have individual private docks.
What about boats?
Check in is at 3:00pm and check out is at 9:00am.
What time is check in/check out?
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, all of our cabins are pet friendly. Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations, heart worm, tick and flee prevention. Dogs must be dog, cat and people friendly. Dogs must be on leash at all times and promptly picked up after. Dogs must not be left unattended. Dogs must not bark. Dog cannot have history of biting. Additional cleaning and damage fees will be assessed as needed. Dog fee is $250 per stay per dog.
All cabins and common areas are smoke free. If you smoke please use ash bucket provided on the deck of your cabin. Please do not litter.

Hi There, We're Tom and Steph Lantry. We are a second generation, small family business husband and wife team. We love wild blueberries, walleyes, campfires, sweatshirts and lake vermilion. At the ages of 29 (Tom) and 25 (Steph) left our day jobs as a pilot and registered nurse to run the family business. Today, you can find us raising our three daughters while operating a beautiful historic resort in Northern Minnesota.

For us, family comes first. It's our main inspiration in this journey we're on, and we absolutely love connecting with others who share the same outlook on life.
We moved to the resort on a snowy day in April of 2013. Tom was a natural in his new role at the resort. After all, he had been training for the job since he was six. Steph took some time getting used to the rural setting, but after a short while adopted the natural landscape as home, and now couldn't imagine it any other way. We found a rhythm and have since grown our family and our business. We love calling this place home and can't wait to share it with you.
