Family owned and operated just hits different… 

We just got home from a family vacation and we had the best experience at a rural ranch in Colorado that was family owned and operated. Why? Because it was unique, historic and passed down for generations. You could tell that the family worked hard and that the property was special to them and their team. Everyone was personable and the owners were even on site working the property. I even got to ride the owner’s horse! 

It felt personal, and deeply special. It was different from your typical tourist trap with the disengaged tour guide and end of tour funnel into the gift shop adorned with everyone’s favorite cheap tee shirts (yep, we have a few in our closet too)… Instead, we felt welcome and embraced into something special, their home. 

Here at White Eagle, we strive to create this same experience for you, our guests. Our resort is a historic century (+) year old property that has been family owned and operated for generations. We are the second generation of the third family who has owned this property. Tom, my husband has lived here since he was just six years old and now we are entering our 11th year of ownership while raising our three daughters as we continue the family tradition of resort operations and ownership. 

Why is White Eagle different? Because it is family owned and operated. What does this mean? We are here, onsite and in charge of the day to day operation of the resort. For better or worse, we are a part of everything that goes on here, from booking (yep that is us answering the phone) to cleaning, laundry, boat rental, cabin construction and more, it is us and our amazing team! We are passionate about making your experience amazing and we love sharing our home with you! 

We understand that we are just a chapter of a larger story that is White Eagle Resort and we promise that we will continue to take care of this place so you can enjoy it for generations to come!
